Responsible Gambling

Pokies and casino games are entertainment, not a way to make money. Keep it fun and keep it in check.

Simple rules

  • You must be 18 or older.
  • Decide your budget before you play and stick to it.
  • Set deposit limits and take regular breaks.
  • Never chase losses and never gamble with money meant for bills.
  • Do not gamble when upset, tired or under the influence.

Warning signs

Spending more than planned, hiding gambling from family, borrowing to play or feeling anxious when you stop are signs it may be time to seek help.
